“I recently hired Dylan Galvin to play music for my wedding ceremony and reception. I wanted to provide honest feedback for anyone looking to hire Dylan for their party, wedding, or other event requiring his diverse brand of music. Dylan is an awesome musician. He plays guitar with great sensitivity and his voice has a ton of character. Whether he’s playing original music or covers, his performances come off effortless and authentic. For my wedding ceremony, I sent him a specific arrangement to learn and he played it perfectly. As the groom, the most magical moment of the day was hearing a song that meant so much as a couple played and timed perfectly to my bride walking down the aisle. Four our reception, Dylan played a perfect mixture of music with chill vibes for the cocktail hour all the way to energetic music for the guests to dance to as the night went on. I heard nothing but fantastic things from my guests about the style, pacing, and song choices. Dylan was able to read the energy of each part of the event and respond perfectly with his musical choices. Since I’ve spoken about Dylan’s artistry and performance, I have to mention how the booking and planning processes went. Dylan was super fast to respond to our initial inquiry. He spoke to my wife and walked her through all of the options. His pricing was fair and direct. Before the wedding, we spoke on the phone about some logistical items and to my surprise, Dylan gave me an awesome, heartfelt pep talk! I can’t say enough how professional and personable Dylan is. Dylan also allowed us to plug in our own wireless microphone equipment to his amplification for the ceremony and reception so that we didn’t have to rent more equipment. He was very gracious in allowing us to do that. During the reception one of our wireless microphones died before I had to speak. Dylan came running out with his own microphone without skipping a beat - essentially saving the day! Even when he was taking a break, Dylan was still making sure everything was going smoothly for my wife and me. If you are looking to hire a professional musician with a big heart, Dylan is your guy. Not only will you enjoy the entertainment he provides, but you’ll feel safe and secure throughout the entire logistical process. Personally, I’ll be hiring Dylan again in the future. I can’t wait to see him perform again!”

“I contracted Dylan to provide entertainment for my 50th birthday party and from the first contact Dylan made the entire experience very easy. Once contracted we connected and reviewed a play list and all particulars of the event. Dylan made the it very easy and he was extremely gracious on my special needs and requests.
